Who Is Liable When a Cleaner Slips on Your Floor?
If an independent cleaner is injured on your premises, the property owner can be held legally and financially responsible for their medical costs. If they damage a fitting or flood a washroom, an uninsured contractor simply walks away from it.
Every Hypermaids cleaner is an employee on our payroll, covered by WSIB Ontario and named under our multi-million-dollar Commercial General Liability policy. Certificates are available for your records before the first visit.

Most offices we clean prefer an early morning or late afternoon window so the floor is empty. Tell us how your building works, including security sign-in, fobs, alarm codes and loading bay access, and we build the visit around it.

Office Cleaning FAQs
Can you clean outside business hours?
Yes. Our windows run 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week, so early mornings, late afternoons and weekends are all available. Most offices choose a window when the floor is empty. Tell us your building’s access arrangements and we work to them.
What if my space does not fit neatly into a bracket?
Call us with the square footage and we will tell you which bracket applies, or quote it per square foot if you are over 5,000. Multi-floor tenancies and mixed-use space are quoted the same way, flat and all-inclusive, so the number holds once we start.
Do you provide proof of insurance and WSIB coverage?
Yes, before the first visit and on request at any time. Every cleaner is an employee on our payroll, covered by WSIB Ontario and named under our Commercial General Liability policy. Most property managers ask for this, and we would rather send it unprompted.
How does billing work for a recurring contract?
Recurring office bookings are billed on one monthly statement rather than per visit, at the same published per-visit rate. There is no minimum term and no cancellation penalty, you give us 24 hours notice like any other client.
Do you supply consumables like paper and soap?
We restock what you keep on site and tell you when supplies are running low. We do not purchase consumables on your behalf, so nothing appears on your statement that you did not order yourself.
