Hypermaids Cleaning Services provides residential and commercial cleaning across the Greater Toronto Area. This policy covers the personal information we collect through hypermaidscleaning.com and in the course of providing our cleaning services.

We only ask for information we need in order to quote, schedule and carry out a clean. Depending on how you contact us, that may include:

Our booking and contact forms send this information to us by email. We do not ask for information we have no use for, and you are never required to create an account.

We use your personal information to confirm your booking and your flat rate, to schedule a cleaning team and get them into your property, to contact you about a visit, and to answer questions you send us.

We also keep a record of past bookings so that recurring clients do not have to repeat their details, and so we can honour our 24-hour guarantee if something needs putting right.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Entry instructions, buzzer codes and lockbox codes are treated as sensitive. They are shared only with the cleaning team assigned to your property and the coordinator scheduling that visit, and they are not published, exported or given to anyone else.

If you would rather not store an entry code with us, you can arrange to let the team in yourself or leave instructions with a concierge instead.

At present, bookings made through this website are confirmed by a Hypermaids coordinator before any payment is taken. Card details are not collected or stored on this website.

When online payment is introduced, card details will be handled directly by a regulated payment processor and will not be stored on our servers. This policy will be updated before that happens.

We share the minimum necessary with the people and services required to deliver your clean:

We do not transfer your information to any third party for their own marketing purposes.

Booking and enquiry records are kept for as long as you remain a client and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can deal with questions, complaints, insurance matters and our tax obligations.

If you would like your information removed sooner, contact us and we will delete what we are not legally required to keep.

This website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, including those set by WordPress and by our caching system to serve pages quickly. Our web host also keeps standard server logs, which record IP addresses and page requests for security and troubleshooting.

We do not currently run advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this site. If analytics are added in future, this policy will be updated to say so.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work correctly if you do.

The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to booking information is limited to the coordinators and cleaning staff who need it, and administrative access to the website is restricted to authorised people.

No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Under Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask for a copy of it, to have inaccurate information corrected, and to withdraw your consent to our use of it.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Our services are offered to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their province.

We may update this policy as our services change, for example when online payment or analytics are introduced. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and the current version always applies.
